The IOD Procedures
Report the Injury
Inform your employer about the injury as soon as it occurs and ensure proper documentation is completed.
See the Doctor
Our Doctor will clinically assess the injury and will order an appropriate management plan. Suturing and dressing of wounds, as well as foreign body removal from the eye, is all done during the initial consultation in our rooms.
Investigations
If necessary, Our Doctor will order and book additional diagnostic procedures such as X-rays, MRIs, or ultrasounds to assess the extent of the injury. We are in close proximity to a radiology unit and laboratory where these test will be done.
Prescription Treatment
We work in conjunction with an IOD compliant pharmacy, located just across the road from our facility. Scripts will be issued by our doctor, and the necessary treatment collected from the pharmacy.
Follow up Care
Our Doctor leaves no injury unchecked, and with regular follow-up care, the injured employee will always get the best treatment.
Physiotherapy
Our Physiotherapist is available at our facility to assist with fast and overall healing of the injury.
